MCPL offers a wide selection of feature films and informational videos on DVD and VHS for all ages. All VHS titles, all informational DVDs, and all children’s media may be borrowed for three weeks and may be renewed. Feature films on DVD may be checked out for one week with no renewals. Many VHS and DVD titles in the collection offer closed captioning (CC).

The library purchases many copies of each popular DVD title. Some copies of every title will be filling customer holds, but for the first 90 days a DVD title is owned, most will be non-holdable copies, available to browsers. Instead of moving around the county in delivery trucks and awaiting pick-up on hold shelves, the non-holdable copies are in constant use. After 90 days in the system, all copies will begin to fill customer holds.

You may have 10 entertainment DVD's checked out on your card at one time.

Have fun!
