Summer Reading Sign Up Instructions

Children and Teens may sign up online or in person at the library. Use your own computer/mobile device or a library computer.

Pick up a Frederick Keys baseball ticket voucher at any library after you sign up. 

Reach your summer reading goal and receive a prize: book bags for children and USB flash drives for teens (while supplies last).

Follow these 10 easy steps below: 

  1. Choose the Summer Reading program for your age or sign up at your library
  2. Create an account - click on Sign Me Up. You do not need to have a library card to sign up.
  3. Fill in the form with your information.
  4. Select a reading goal for yourself, which must be at least 5 books or 1000 minutes.
  5. Read books all summer long.
  6. Log your books in your Summer Reading Account.
  7. Enter the book information (rating the book is optional).
  8. Save your log.
  9. Complete your reading goal.
  10. Print your Certificate of completion
